A couple of experiments were tried in order to make clear the mechanism of V.Parahaemolyticus infection by trying to proliferate V.Parahaemolyticus in the intestinal canal of mice after treating intestinal resident flora with antibiotics. The results were as follows: a. In the digestive canal of normal mice, V.Parahaemolyticus markedly decreased as the time passed. b. When we tried to decrease the normal intestinal flora of mice by oral administration of phenoxyethyl-penicillin, the proliferation within intestinal canal of V.Parahaemolyticus was evident. c.
