The authors studied the electrocardiogram of 695 elementary school children (6~11 years old) and the results were as follows: 1) The heart rate of school children was 80~90 beats per minute on average and this was slower than that of 3~5 years old infants. 2) The PQ, QRS and QT intervals were about 0.14 sec, 0.07 sec. and 0.36 sec. respectively. 3) The transitional zone in electrocardiogram for elementary school children were mainly recorded in V_3~V_4 precordial leads. 4) The inverted T waves were generally presented in V_1 and V_2 (46.0% and 35.3% respectively), and also in V_3 (20~23%). 5) The number of incomplete right bundle branch blocks and respiratoric arrythmia was 72 and 115 (10.4% and 16.6%) respectively. 6) As the other abnormal...
