Class observation is not only important for the basic data of empirical researches but also necessary for the basic data to learn from class practices and to improve them. In this paper I consider a traditional micro-analytic perspective as a basic theory of class observation as well as a holistic-systematic perspective as a criticism of the traditional perspective. I argue that both of them need to complement each other. I propose the training program that teachers can conduct an accurate class observation on this theoretical basis
