ヒドラジニウム還元法による淡水中の硝酸イオン測定法の改良

A cadmium copper column reduction method has been widely accepted for the determination of nitrate in natural waters. This method is highly precise but poses a serious disadvantage in wastewater treatment involving toxic heavy metals. An analytical method based on the hydrazinium reduction technique was improved for more precise determination of nitrate in freshwater samples by routine spectro-photometric analysis. The effects of reagent concentrations, standing time and temperature on the reduction of nitrate to nitrite were examined. The proposed method was quantitatively determined with high accuracy. The hydrazinium reduction method in the present study has an advantage over the cadmium copper column method for routine analysis of nitrate in natural freshwater samples.天然水中の硝酸イオンの定量は、測定精度がよいカドミウム－銅カラム還元法が広く用いらているが, 排水中の重金属処理に十分注意を払わなければならない欠点がある。そこで, 淡水中の硝酸イオンのルーチン測定のためにヒドラジニウム還元法を改良した。本研究では, 硝酸イオンから亜硝酸イオンに還元させる際に, 高い還元率を得るための試薬濃度, 還元温度および還元時間などを検討した。その結果, 本法は淡水中の硝酸イオンを高い精度で定量することができ, ルーチン分析にはカドミウム－銅カラム法よりも優れていると考えられる
