平成20~21年度科学研究費補助金(若手研究(スタートアップ))研究成果報告書バルク金属ガラス(BMG)の降伏(破損)曲面の提示を目指し,複合負荷試験用試験片作製のため,アーク溶解炉の設計・製作を行った.この炉でZr系BMG材料を試作した.溶融金属の冷却過程の結晶化によって試験片作製が困難であったため,別途購入された板状試験片によって,基礎的な破損曲面を調査した.また常温の引張に対する脆性的挙動について,熱塑性変形による材料改質を実現した.今後,完成した炉でより発展的な研究を目指せると考えられる.The purpose of this research is the confirmation of the yield surface of bulk metallic glasses by multi-axial loading method. To carry out this experimental method, the melting arc furnace for the development of the specimen with appropriate shape was designed and fabricated.
