KITA Ikki (1883-1937) is one of the most famous Japanese revolutionaries in the modern time. He lived in the time when Japan established the power of the state through the Japanese-Chinese War and the Japanese-Russo War,adopting expansionism to invade neighboring countries. He was executed as the leader of this revolution on February 26 incident in 1936 (Showa 11). How did he understand Japan and what kind of thinking did he have concerning China at this time? KITA did not see nationalism and socialism as contradicting each other, and thought that nationalism and socialism could coexist consistently. In this thesis,I would like to clarify his perspectives on Japan and China in relation to his time
