Ce travail de thèse s'intéresse à l'évolution des habiletés de lecture et d'écriture sur la période de l'école élémentaire en France, et fait partie du projet ACQUISLONGIT soutenu par l'Institut Carnot de l'Éducation de la région Auvergne Rhône-Alpes. Il a pour objectif dans un premier temps d'étudier sur un temps long et en français le lien entretenu par les habiletés de lecture et d'écriture ; en effet, si certaines études font état d'un lien unilatéral de la lecture vers l'écriture en début d'enseignement formel (e.g. Chun et al., 2022 ; Deacon et al., 2012 ; Schaars et al., 2017), il n'y a pas, à notre connaissance, d'étude longitudinale en langue française qui ait mesuré l'évolution de ce lien sur l'ensemble de l'école élémentaire.
