L'objectif de cette thèse est d'étudier l'effet des conditions initiales sur le processus de transition vers un état turbulent du mélange induit par l'instabilité de Richtmyer-Meshkov. L'originalité de ce travail réside dans la méthode utilisée pour générer ces conditions initiales, basée sur un système permettant la rotation rapide et couplée de plaques planes à l'interface entre deux fluides au repos. Compte tenu de la nouveauté du concept, la première partie de ce travail est consacrée à la caractérisation numérique des conditions initiales. Les résultats indiquent que deux familles d'interface peuvent être obtenues, distingués par la présence d'une ou deux échelles caractéristiques.
