Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan parasosial yang terungkap dalam foto 'boyfriendable' anggota boy group K-Pop SEVENTEEN, NCT, dan THE BOYZ. Metode deskriptif analitis digunakan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengungkap unsur-unsur dalam foto 'boyfriendable' tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis semotik Roland Barthes untuk menganalisis gambar dan teori interaksi parasosial Horton dan Wohl untuk menganalisis hubungan parasosial melalui interaksi simbolik. Temuan mengungkapkan bahwa hubungan parasosial yang ditunjukkan dalam gambar melalui unsur-unsur seperti fashion, bahasa, dan ruang dari idola yang terdiri dari hubungan parasosial.
