The national Total Fertility Rate in Indonesia was 2.4 children per woman. The use of contraception is being promoted to reduce fertility rates which can quickly increase the number of elderly. There are two types of contraceptive methods, namely modern and traditional contraception. This study was aimed to determine the differences in fertility between traditional and modern contraceptive users in Indonesian women.
