Educational Uses of Mobile Phones by University Students in Spain

This article describes some of the results obtained from the MICINN EDU 2010–17420 research project. One aspect focuses on the academic use of mobile telephones by Spanish students in 2012. The data collection techniques used for the study were questionnaires, discussion groups and “life histories”. The sample comprised students from five Spanish universities (342 participants).
