BEFORE THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT election in 2006 parties of the Polish left wing were going to sing an agreement, which would give them a chance for a favorable result in the election. Similarly to the past years, each party became divided into those who support the idea of a wide coalition of left wing and central wing parties and the advocates of a pure left wing coalition.
