Nierozwiązany problem środowiska naturalnego w dobie globalizacji

The transformation of the natural environment has continued since the beginning of the existence of our species. Humankind, while progressing through consecutive phases of civilisation, has not acknowledged the problems resulting from this process. Only the 20th century has seen changes in the way that humans think about ecology and environmental protection. Unfortunately, the solutions suggested thus far have not stopped the process of degradation of the natural environment. The reason for this is the fact that currently functioning normative systems, specific to certain cultures, were predominantly formed before the problems of human influence on the planet were recognised. There is a lack of regulation within these systems, a lack of cultural imperatives encouraging certain behaviour towards the natural environment, and these issues take a very low position in the hierarchy of values. This is why the problem requires complex changes in the system of society, economy and political functioning. Otherwise, it is highly likely that our civilisation will have to face some very serious problems – the inevitable consequences of the destruction of the natural environment
