THE PAPER FOCUSES on the problem of refounded study of International Relations on the basis of International Political Theory. The first section summarizes what kind of assistance can theorists of International Relations expect to receive from the International Political Theory? One answer is M. Wight’s essay Why is there no international Theory?. M. Wight wrote that with a few exceptions, the great political philosophers either ignored international relations, or treated them on the margins of their work.
