Polish banking sector and the EU banking regulations

The aim of the article is to present the most important changes in the regulation of the EU banking and to refer them to the present situation in the banking sector in Poland. The article presents changes in: banking capital, liquidity requirements, capital buffers, stress tests, and banking supervision. The author claims that the banking sector in Poland is well prepared to operate under the conditions of the single European financial market
