Cantilever beam-columns of CFT were tested under the constant axial and alternately repeated horizontal loads to investigate the strength deterioration phenomena due to local buckling. The efftct of width-to-thickness ratio of steel tube, axial load ratio and the displacement amplitude in the repeated loading on the strength deterioration are discussed comparing the test results with the results of analysis
