It is very important to analyze the characteristics using a SEM, because each part of a sporangium of Myxomycetes has very fine structures. Four species of Physarum natabile, P. nutans,P. viride and Fuligo cinerea belong to Physaraceae developed in Korean Peninsula were taxonomically studied, especially in regard to the surface ornamentation of a sporangium, aethalium, peridium, capillitium, calcareous granule, spore and other taxonomical factors in detail using a SEM in this study.
