Development of End Grain Impregnation Method and Trial Manufacture of Impregnation Apparatus

In the present article, a new methodology is proposed for impregnation of wood. In this methodology, depressurizing from one end grain of the log, and pressurizing on impregnation solution around the log and on the other end grain of the log are done at the same time. An impregnation apparatus was manufactured on the basis of new methodology for impregnation of wood. Using this new impregnation apparatus, impregnation experiments were carried out on the maple log.
