The yield and decay time of the donor phosphorescence as functions of acceptor concentration in sensitized phosphorescence are measured in a rigid solution for systems of aromatic molecules. The results are analyzed with a theory developed by Inokuti and Hirayama for energy transfer by exchange interaction. The influence of the substituted position on triplet-triplet energy transfer is found in 2-position of substituted naphthalene
