Korean learners of Japanese often have difficulty with the perception and pronunciation of the voiced and voiceless plosives of Japanese. For this study, longitudinal perception experiments were carried out on elementary & intermediate level Korean learners of Japanese. This research depends on a perceptive experiment which consists of consonant + vowel + consonant + vowel (CVCV) combinations of the voiced & voiceless plosives of Japanese. As a result of longitudinal study, in perception, many Korean learners continuously misunderstood the word initial voiceless plosives of Japanese, mistaking them for voiced plosives. Therefore, It can be argued that Korean learners need perception guidance of the initial voiceless plosive of Japanese
