The purpose of this paper is to report a project conducted between foreign students and Japanese students during the Second Colloquium of Intercultural Understanding at Mie University. At the Second Colloquium of Intercultural Understanding, we presented an intercultural simulation game of the culture shock and adaptation process and led the discussion that followed in order to facilitate cultural awareness. The simulation game included 7 sessions : (1) learning about one's own culture, (2) learning about other cultures, (3) returning to the one's own culture, (4) debriefing, (5) application to situations in daily life, (6) lecture on culture shock and adaptation process, (7) discussion.
