High performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method for determination of florfenicol (FF) in muscle, serum, liver, kidney and bile of cultured yellowtail Seriora quinqueradiata was developed. Analysis was conducted in 3 steps: (A)in muscle and serum, FF was extracted with acetonitrile and then n‐hexane. The sample was subjected to HPLC analysis. (B)in liver and kidney,the sample was dissolved in n‐hexane and cleaned up by Sep‐pak florisil cartridge after treated by step(A).
