Teacher Performance in Teaching English as a Foreign Language During Covid-19 Pandemic at SMAN 5 Gowa

The existence of Covid-19 in the world had a very big impact on human life, especially in the field of education because the learning process must be carried out online. This is a new thing for students and teachers if have to carry out online learning in total. Thus, this study aims to find out how the performance and quality of teachers in teaching during this Covid-19 pandemic. The result of the questionnaire indicated that teacher has a good performance in teaching English as a foreign language This research was conducted by descriptive qualitative method, where the data obtained from the questionnaire. Where the questionnaire consisted of the ability in opening the lesson, attitude or behavior, mastering the topic, teaching and learning process, media usage, and evaluation.
