Regard sociolinguistique sur les arts de faire d’élèves plurilingues en classe de français

International audienceFor plurilingual pupils learning in French at school, French language is a major factor in the construction of their identity. What are their language strategies for learning? We will study them as 'Certalian' arts of doing (linked to Michel de Certeau's thought), sociolinguistically situated. The ethnographic study carried out in three contrasting contexts suggests that the strategies for accommodating sociolinguistic norms are part of an evolving domestic logic that is little didacticised, but dependent on the school. Quelles sont leurs stratégies langagières pour apprendre ? Nous les étudierons en tant qu’arts de faire « certaliens » (liés à la pensée de Michel de Certeau), sociolinguistiquement situés. L’étude ethnographique menée dans trois contextes contrastés suggère que les stratégies d’accommodation aux normes sociolangagières relèvent de logiques domestiques évolutives et peu didactisées, mais dépendantes de l’école.
