International audienceThis article examines the links between heritage development and tourism gentrification, based on the case of the historical city-center of Rennes, a medium-size city in France, and focus on territorial marketing strategy. It discusses the relationship between a rehabilitation system of a degraded historical area and a tourism development process guided by the attractiveness of the city.
