The author made an experiment by which a clod might be got from the powdered lead glass of a comparatively low melting point instead of the sand or rock given impulse current by an artificial thunderbolt. The formation ratio and the magnitude of the clods of fused particles created by this electrical energy were observed. Through this experiment, the formation ratio was about 4[%] and the maximum length of the clod obtained was about 10[mm]
