The purpose of this study is to investigate the religious faiths and views in Japanese and Chinese college students, and to compare them. The subjects were 830 Japanese college students and 858 Chinese college students. The following results were obtained: (1) There were only a few students both in Japan and China who had faith in religion or opposition to religion. (2) Many Japanese and Chinese students were not interested in religion. (3) Some students were interested in religious faith, though they didn't have yet. There were more such students in China than in Japan. (4) Japanese students pointed out the ill effects of religion.
