Provedeno je istraživanje utjecaja učestalosti hranidbe mlađi šarana (Cyprinus carpio L.) na kemijski i masenokiselinski sastav tkiva. Ribe su hranjene na ribnjacima Grudnjak i Jasinje 2, 3 i 4 puta dnevno (2x, 3x, 4x) potpunom krmnom smjesom za slatkovodnu ribu (35% SP i 9% SM) jednakom količinom hrane (2% ukupne mase ribe) u trajanju od 90 dana. Rezultati su ukazali na značajnije nakupljanje masti u mišićnom tkivu kod riba s nižom učestalosti hranidbe.
