The present conditions and future problems of the export business of pig in Tohoku district

The purpose of this paper is to clarify the present conditions of the export business of pig in Tohoku district and future problems based on a survey. The subjects of the survey are public abattoirs in Yamagata and Miyagi prefectures. The results of the employed survey are as follows. First, the present conditions and future problems of the export business of pig is not business strategy but public relations. Second, there are any factors that Japanese farmers or companies could not export pig to abroad yet
