This thesis work is dealing with the study of synthetic opportunities offered by allylsulfones and palladium in chemistry. Firstly, we attempted to develop a new domino sequence, which involves the reaction between allyl carbonates/ally acetates and sodium sulfinates. This domino reaction involves a triple intermolecular Pd-catalyzed allylation reaction and allows the construction of C-S/C-C/C-C bonds. Secondly, we have successfully developed and compared two distinct and effective protocols for the preparation of allylsulfones from commercially available alkenes via PdX2-catalyzed allylic C–H activation/sulfonylation.
