Amines are of great importance as building blocks or reactants in the chemical industry. The development of catalytic processes for their synthesis is thus of particular interest from an industrial point of viewsince they can afford an alternative to conventional synthetic pathways. In the context of an industrial project aiming to synthesize chiral amines, we focused on the development of a catalytic system adapted to the asymmetric hydroaminomethylation of alkenes.
