Internationalization of Indonesian through Nasi goreng Culinary in Learning Indonesian for Foreign Speakers for United States Students

This study aims to explore the internationalization potential of Indonesian through a scientific-thematic approach by integrating Javanese culinary tourism into Indonesian language teaching materials for international students (BIPA) in the United States. This research identifies how learning methods focusing on Javanese culinary tourism can improve international students\u27 understanding and Indonesian language skills and how interaction with culinary culture helps them understand Indonesian social, cultural and historical values. In teaching nasi goreng as BIPA teaching material, it is essential to ensure that the approach used is relevant, fun, and follows students\u27 needs and ability levels. As previously explained, the integration of Javanese culinary tourism into Indonesian teaching materials for foreign speakers with a scientific-thematic approach is an example of an effective way to introduce nasi goreng and Indonesian culture to BIPA students in the United States or elsewhere
