PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER TERHADAP MORALITAS REMAJA DI ERA DIGITAL

The rapid digital era has brough significant changes in behavior and social interactions, especially among adolescents. This technological advancement has influenced the morality of teenagers, making it increasingly complex and susceptible to negative influences from the vast and uncontrollable digital world. This research aims to explore the influence of character education on the morality of adolescents in the digital era. The study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach to analyze the impact of character education on adolescent morality. The results indicate that character education has a positive influence on shaping adolescent morality. Moral values taught, such as integrity, honesty, and responsibility, assist adolescents in dealing with the negative effects of the digital era. Character education is not solely the responsibility of schools but also of society, specifically parents. Parents need to monitor their children’s use of gadgets and provide guidance and boundaries. Therefore, character education serves as a crucial foundation in preparing the younger generation to confront moral challenges in this digital era
