PERAN PKN TERHADAP PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK KELAS III SDN BATUCEPER 1 KOTA TANGERANG

This study aims to determine the character of the discipline of class III students in PKN subjects at Batuceper 1 Elementary School, Tangerang City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subject of this research is the class III teacher and class III students. This research was conducted at Batuceper 1 Elementary School in May 2023. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Citizenship education has a very important role in character building to become a better person for the nation and state. Citizenship education must continue to exist in schools because if not, it will have an impact on character building in children, especially for thr millennial generation who will become the nation’s successors in the future. The results of the study show that the character of student discipline in PKN learning is still lacking, there are still students who are not disciplined in time and are not disciplined in actions
