PEMANFAATAN MEDIA DAN ALAT PERAGA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

The purpose of this study is to describe how the utilization of media and teaching aids in science learning to increase student activeness and the problems that teachers face. The focus of this research is how the utilization of media carried out by teachers to be able to increase student activeness in science learning and what media and teaching aids are used in the science learning process. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. In this study, data were collected using observation, interview, and documentation methods. Researchers conducted interviews with 3 resource persons, namely the principal, grade V teacher, and one grade V student. The results of this study indicate that the use of media and teaching aids in science learning has an effect on student activeness, but there are some media and teaching aids that are not suitable to be applied in class V, so teachers need to have the ability to analyze what media and teaching aids are suitable to be applied to science learning in class V so that later it will be able to increase student learning activeness. &nbsp
