MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATA PELAJARAN IPAS MATERI MATA UANG MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING PADA SISWA KELAS IV SDN BULUGLEDEG

This research was conducted to overcome the low science learning outcomes in class IV by using the problem-based learning (PBL) learning model. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN Bulugledeg, Bendo sub-district, Magetan Regency in science lessons with a focus on currency material. The subjects of this study consisted of 6 grade IV students, with 3 male students and 3 female students. This study used a classroom action research (CAR) design developed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart. The instruments used in this study were observation, documentation, interviews, and student learning outcomes tests. Research data were collected through student learning outcomes assessment tests, and then analyzed using the average formula and the percentage of completeness. The results of the study show that the PBL learning model can improve science learning outcomes in currency material in class IV SDN Bulugledeg. At the pre-cycle stage, only 3 students or 50% of the total 6 students achieved KKM 75, with an average grade of 67.5. In cycle I, there was an increase where the class average value reached 72.5 with 4 students or 66.67% of the total 6 students successfully achieving the KKM. In cycle II, there was a further increase where all students or 6 students succeeded in achieving the KKM with an average score of cycle II reaching 89.17. The use of the problem-based learning (PBL) can improve the learning outcomes of the Natural Sciences subject on currency material in grade IV students at SDN Bulugledeg, Bendo sub-district, Magetan Regency, in the 2022/2023 academic year
