Traditional remediation technologies for Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP) such as Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) have serious limitations and high costs. Zero valent iron nanoparticles (nZVI) represent a new generation of environmental remediation technologies that could provide cost-effective solutions.
