Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji hubungan antara keberagaman gender, ukuran direksi, dan latar belakang pendidikan direksiterhadap penghindaran pajak, juga melihat hubungan mediasi dari manajemen laba dalam hubungan kausal ini.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar dalam BEI dari tahun 2019-2021.Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive samplingdan 139 perusahaan (217 perusahaan selama tiga tahun) menjadi sampel penelitian.Cash Effective Tax Ratedigunakan sebagai proksi penghindaran pajak, dan Discretionary Accruals digunakan sebagai proksi manajemen laba.
