Pengaruh Karakteristik Dewan Komisaris terhadap Profitabilitas Perusahaan (Analisis pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang Terdaftar di BEI Tahun 2020-2021)

This study aims to examine the effect of the characteristics of the board of commissioners on company profitability. In this study, the characteristics of the board of commissioners are proxied by the variable size of the board of commissioners, the audit committee, the number of board meetings, and the title of the board of commissioners. The control variables used in this study are company size and company age. The sample of this research is manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the 2020-2021 period. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results found indicate that the size of the board of commissioners and the title of the board of commissioners have a significant positive effect on company profitability, while the audit committee and the number of board of commissioners meetings have no significant effect on profitability.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh karakteristik dewan komisaris terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan. Pada penelitian ini, karakteristik dewan komisaris diproksikan dengan variabel ukuran dewan komisaris, komite audit, jumlah rapat dewan komisaris, dan gelar dewan komisaris. Variabel kontrol yang digunakan di penelitian ini adalah ukuran perusahaan dan umur perusahaan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2020-2021. Teknik analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil yang ditemukan menunjukkan bahwa ukuran dewan komisaris komisaris dan gelar dewan komisaris memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan, sedangkan komite audit dan jumlah rapat dewan komisaris tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas
