ENSINO SUPERIOR NO BRASIL: RECENTE EXPANSÃO E SEUS GANHADORES

This article aims to investigate the quantitative advances in higher education and the possible winners of the process, as well as the perspectives for this level of education. For this purpose, the methodology of descriptive analysis of data from the National Household Sample Survey (Pnad) is accessed, in the interregnum between 2005-2015. The findings point to a total growth rate of around 50%, which represents an increase of 2.4 million students at that level. The winners of the process were the blacks, browns and indigenous, the poor, the women and the residents of the less developed regions that had their presence expanded in this space.  Este artigo objetiva averiguar os avanços quantitativos na Educação Superior e os possíveis ganhadores do processo. Para tanto, acessa-se a metodologia de análise descritiva dos dados da Pesquisa Nacional por Amostra de Domicílio (PNAD), no interregno entre 2005-2015. Os achados apontam para uma taxa de crescimento total de cerca de 50%, o que representa um aumento de 2,4 milhões de estudantes nesse nível. Os ganhadores do processo devido a ampliação de acesso foram os pretos, os pardos e os indígenas, os pobres, as mulheres e os moradores das regiões menos desenvolvidas que tiveram sua presença alargada nesse espaço
