Revisão integrativa das intervenções para prevenção da obesidade infantil: perspectivas de sucesso e limitações

  The aim of this article is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the literature addressing the most effective interventions in preventing childhood obesity, examining their prospects for success, and identifying their limitations. This integrative review relied on the search for articles in English, Portuguese, and French, published between 2005 and 2023, obtained from the Scopus and PubMed research sources. It is observed that community and family interventions have the potential to positively impact physical activity levels and dietary improvement in children, with their effectiveness varying according to various factors, including the social, cultural, and individual context.O objetivo deste artigo consiste em realizar uma análise abrangente da literatura que aborda as intervenções mais eficazes na prevenção da obesidade infantil, analisando suas perspectivas de sucesso e identificando suas limitações. Esta revisão integrativa se baseou na busca de artigos em inglês, português e francês, publicados entre 2005 e 2023, obtidos a partir das fontes de pesquisa Scopus e PubMed. Observa-se que as intervenções comunitárias e familiares têm o potencial de impactar positivamente os níveis de atividade física e a melhoria da alimentação nas crianças, sendo sua eficácia variante de acordo com diversos fatores, incluindo o contexto social, cultural e individual
