PRESERVAÇÃO ALVEOLAR EM PRÉ-MOLAR SUPERIOR COM ENXERTO ÓSSEO BOVINO DESPROTEINIZADO

Rehabilitation with the placement of implants in edentulous areas has grown in dentistry, with patients aiming for aesthetic and functional dental rehabilitation, whether partial or total rehabilitation. However, tooth extraction leads to a morphological remodeling of the ridge, reducing the vertical height in relation to the original position of the tooth, which can make it difficult to place implants when the ridge is not preserved. The objective of the present study is to report a clinical case of alveolar preservation with bone graft, late implant installation and fixed prosthesis placement. Female patient, 42 years old, complained of a tooth fracture. After clinical and imaging examinations, extraction of the element was indicated. In the first surgical stage, bone preservation was carried out through the placement of biomaterial with a membrane and later the installation of an implant in an already healed alveolus. After 90 days, the patient was released for the fabrication of the definitive prosthesis. Surgical success was obtained through a correct diagnosis, planning and choice of technique, ensuring that the patient was rehabilitated and presented satisfactory aesthetic and functional results.A reabilitação com a colocação de implantes em áreas edêntulas tem crescido na odontologia, com pacientes almejando uma reabilitação dentária estética e funcional, sejam elas reabilitações parciais ou totais. No entanto, a extração dentária leva a uma remodelação morfológica do rebordo, reduzindo a altura vertical em relação à posição original do dente, o que pode dificultar a colocação de implantes quando não há a preservação do rebordo. O objetivo do presente estudo é relatar um caso clínico de preservação alveolar com enxerto ósseo, instalação tardia do implante e colocação de prótese fixa. Paciente sexo feminino, 42 anos de idade, queixava-se de fratura dentária. Após exames clínicos e de imagem, foi indicado a exodontia do elemento, na primeira etapa cirúrgica realizou-se a preservação óssea por meio da colocação de biomaterial com membrana e posteriormente a instalação de implante em alvéolo já cicatrizado. Com 90 dias, a paciente foi então liberada para a confecção da prótese definitiva. O sucesso cirúrgico foi obtido através de um correto diagnóstico, planejamento e escolha da técnica, garantindo que a paciente fosse reabilitada e apresentasse resultados estéticos e funcionais satisfatórios
