Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is considered a public health problem, especially among children between 0 and 4 years old and adolescents between 15 and 19 years old. The present study proposes to analyze hospitalizations due to Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in the pediatric population, in Brazil and its regions, in the last 5 years. This is a cross-sectional descriptive study, with a documentary approach, using secondary data collected at the Department of Informatics of the Unified Health System.
