Growing attention has been paid to immigrant mental health in recent years given large numbers of immigrants in the U.S., Europe, and globally. Immigrants are often pushed out of their home countries by high levels of regional violence, poverty, and natural disasters making them vulnerable to experiences of trauma and subsequent post-traumatic distress. This special issue aimed to bring together recent scholarship on the many ways in which psychologists are learning from and addressing the wellbeing of immigrant populations
