PERAN GURU DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER DISIPLIN SISWA KELAS V DI SDN KERONCONG 3 KECAMATAN PERIUK KOTA TANGERANG

This study aims to determine the teacher's role in shaping the disciplinary character of fifth grade students at SDN Keroncong 3, Periuk District, Tangerang City. This research is a research using qualitative methods. In this study, researchers conducted research with observation instruments, interviews, and documentation. Then the data collected from the results of this study are described in the form of words. The results of this study can be concluded that the teacher acts as a facilitator, motivator, informer, organizer, director, mediator, initiator, and evaluator. From the results of the interviews it is known that the teacher plays a very important role in shaping the character of student discipline because the teacher has carried out the above aspects. Class V students at SDN Keroncong 3, Periuk District, Tangerang City, have been able to apply discipline at school and in class, because the teacher's role is quite active in providing learning facilities, providing information about discipline, managing learning in class, directing students who lack discipline to become disciplined. , become a mediator, initiator, and even become an evaluator
