Kesejahteraan orang tua dan pola asuh otoritatif dengan perilaku bermasalah pada remaja

The problem occurs when the behavior of adolescents is often influenced by their parents. The aim of the research is to look at the relationship between well-being in parents and problems related to behavior carried out by adolescents. The participants in this study consisted of 142 parents (both fathers and mothers) of students at SMP X and Y in Situbondo. Research participants were asked to fill out a welfare scale (Pemberton Happiness Index) and parenting style (Parenting Style and Dimension Questionnaire). The participants were also asked to rate the level of behavior of the teenagers with the Strengths & Difficulties Questionnaire scale. The results of the study show that authoritative parenting is a link between parents' well-being and problematic behavior experienced by adolescents. More specifically, prosperous parents will adopt an authoritative parenting style, thus contributing to a decrease in problematic adolescent behavior
