Analisis Circular Economy Pengelolaan Sampah Organik Menggunakan Black Soldier Fly

The problem of organic waste can be solved by applying the circular economy principle, namely in the form of waste management using the Maggot Black Soldier Fly (BSF). Maggot Black Soldier Fly (BSF) can decompose organic waste into compost that can be used in planting or agricultural activities. The results of mature maggots can be used as feed in livestock and fisheries businesses because they contain high protein. The objectives of this study are: (1) Identifying the amount of organic waste absorption with the BSF Maggot cultivation business, (2) Analyzing the financial feasibility of Maggot cultivation in the Balaraja BSF Maggot Cultivation business unit and BSF Tunas Maggot Cultivation, (3) Analyzing business efficiency in livestock and fisheries sector through a circular economy system in the use of BSF Maggot feed. The research method used is quantitative descriptive analysis, financial feasibility analysis, and business efficiency analysis. The results showed that the amount of waste absorption from the existence of BSF maggot cultivation was 430.7 tons/year, with the total required land area for maggot cultivation which should have been 137,855 m2. The financial feasibility of the business shows that the BSF Tunas and Balaraja Maggot Cultivation Business Unit is feasible because it has met the eligibility criteria of NPV>0, Net B/C>1, IRR>Interest rate/discount rate and PP> Age of project/business. Business efficiency shows that fishery and livestock business activities that are integrated into maggot cultivation are more efficient in spending the cost of commercial feed used and provide greater profits in their business
