For the usual measurement of the drag against a moving body in water, a long water pool and a particular balance are used. But it cannot be done with ease because of its apparatus, the high speed of the body and so forth. Here is a comparatively easy way of measurement using a cylinder, a stroboscope, and a camera. That is, the weight supported by the pulley draws the material in the cylinder filled with water, then the photographic record of the motion of the material through the stroboscope is taken by the camera
