The Belousov reaction, which can be visualized as periodical red-blue color change of ferroin indicator corresponding to redox reaction of Ce IV/CeIII and reduction of BrO3- to Br- during slow oxidation of malonic acid, is one of good visual aids in teaching chemical kinetics and redox reactions. 8 mm color film containing some experimental demonstrations of the Belousov reaction is prepared and some lectures are given utillizing the film
