Bilateral Posterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy Due to Bilateral Dural Carotid-Cavernous Sinus Fistulas: A Case Report

Dural carotid-cavernous sinus fistula(CCF) is a low-flow fistula that refers to the communications between cavernous sinus and dural branches of internal carotid artery(ICA) and/or external carotid artery(ECA). Several ophthalmic complications associated with dural CCF have been reported including optic neuropathies. Majority of dural CCF-related optic neuropathies have glaucomatous and compressive etiologies.
