Dural carotid-cavernous sinus fistula(CCF) is a low-flow fistula that refers to the communications between cavernous sinus and dural branches of internal carotid artery(ICA) and/or external carotid artery(ECA). Several ophthalmic complications associated with dural CCF have been reported including optic neuropathies. Majority of dural CCF-related optic neuropathies have glaucomatous and compressive etiologies. Despite its rarity, posterior ischemic optic neuropathy(PION), which has devastating visual outcome, has also been reported as an ophthalmic complication of dural CCF
